This pattern is intended for an advanced beginner and beyond crochet skill level. It is written in US terms. This Bralette was designed by Elizabeth Gonsalves and debuted in Trinidad, a sunny, tropical, twin island located in the Caribbean, also known as Trinidad and Tobago.
I used 100% Cotton Yarn for this Project. The white yarn did not have a brand & the variegated yarn was from Sugar N Cream, both of which seemed to be weight 4 yarns. To make this bralette you will need 2 different color ways of yarn. It is worked flat from the top down using the Waffle Diamond Stitch & also there will be no snipping of yarn & minimal ends to weave in throughout unless you need to add another skein of yarn once one is finished. I have sectioned the steps into 3 parts. These include making the majority of the bralette using mainly Single crochets, Double crochets & Front Post Treble crochets, then the straps will be made while creating a border around the bralette & lastly the bottom pompom stitches will be made!
